9 months old

Well today is Madison's 9 month old birthday and she shares this day with her Meedad, who has a birthday as well. She had her appointment earlier in the week and is up to 16lbs 6oz and 28.5 inches long. She is tall and thin...go figure. She did have to get some bloodwork done and it seems that her hemoglobin levels are a little low so she needs a supplement. It runs in the family so we are not surprised. She also gets to go see a special doctor next week for a little knot she has had on her head for several months but we are certain all will be well since she is growing and developing properly:) We will keep everyone posted.
In the meantime, she continues to LOVE her baby school and friends and is always full of stories when she gets home; it is too cute.
She is going to her first professional baseball game this weekend so I will be sure to post pictures afterward. Everyone have a great weekend.

Mother's Day Weekend

Well I had the greatest ever Mother's Day....I really LOVE being a mom; it is amazing! As you can see from the pictures, we had a very busy weekend but Madison was happy as can be. We went to play with Morgaen on Friday before meeting Clint for dinner at Red Lobster....can't beat those cheese biscuits:) Saturday morning, grandma Nini arrived with Henry and we spent the day together. She took a great nap and was an angel baby for their entire visit. Sunday we went shopping and Madison decided it was a lot more fun being in the cart rather than in her stroller. She is so accustomed to being in the grocery cart and Target cart, that she found herself right at home in the basket.
Clint spoiled me rotten for my first Mother's Day and I had a lot of other gifts, cards and well wishes from a lot of other people as well; thank you!
