Happy September

Welcome to September! Maddy is getting so big and trying to adjust to life without Gramma Nini again. She left today but has since learned to say "hello" when pretend talking to her on the phone...and all other family members of course....as displayed in the picture. She also got to try brownie mix for the first time and you can see her excitement:) She was a little confused but has since learned to enjoy brownies very much. We had a busy but fun day and she got to see her cousins Gabe and Livy and Uncle Skip and Aunt Sheri a lot today which was awesome....for mommy and daddy too:) They are always entertaining and fun!

On Her Way.....

Maddy had her surgery on Monday and we appreciate all the phone calls before and after. We are so lucky to have such loving friends and family. As you can see, Maddy is doing very well and having tons of fun with her Gramma Nini this week. She will stay home with her through Thursday and then she will go back to school with her toddler friends on Friday before the long weekend. Jeanine leaves on Saturday but she gets to meet Melissa and Tom on Sunday...big weekend. In the meantime, we hope you all have a great weekend. More postings to come.

Sandbox Fun....

Well we finally got the sandbox for Maddy and she loves it. It is a PURPLE turtle of course:) and she figured out very quickly how to go back and forth from the pool to the sandbox and back. She has her surgery tomorrow so Gramma Nini got here this weekend to stay with her for the week...we are all very excited!You see how much she enjoys being pushed around in her baby doll's stroller...and since she is still only 17 lbs, she fits. I tire out before she does as you can imagine so it is a short lived ride. Anyway, we hope you all have a great week. Keep Maddy in your thoughts and prayers and we will let you know how she is doing.
