Busy days....

So this was our last week at the house together. Next Tuesday we are going to Naples for the first time since Maddy arrived over FOUR months ago and we will not be back until the 30th. She starts daycare for a few hours each day on the 2nd and then full time on the 8th....and I USED to love the number 8 so much:) Anyway, we stayed busy with playdates, potlucks, doctor visits and last minute holiday shopping (on-line). Maddy does something new each day and today marks the first day she had something other than magic milk. She ate some rice cereal and did rather well. Christmas day will be her first day on vegetables so I will be sure to take some pictures. She had her appointment today and is 12 lbs 11 ounces, 24 1/2 inches long. She has reached all the necessary milestones for a four month old and falls within the average range for all the necessary doctor checks....whoo:) The picture with the other two girls was taken Tuesday when the girls got together for their weekly playdate. These girls were born 4 days and 7 days after Maddy so they will be forever friends. Tomorrow my sister comes with the girls and Sunday my cousin and her husband Mike arrive so the Huff household will be full of family. Thanks to Hotel GATES, my sister has a nice big place to stay rather than having to stay in a true hotel...thanks agin Sar:)
Anyway, we will have lots of pictures from Maddy's first Christmas and will blog them immediately. We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

Santa

So Maddy went to visit Santa today and as you can see from the picture, she was't very impressed. I tried to get het all pumped up before we went but I got nowhere. Only a couple people thought she was a boy today, despite the pink shirt AND pink tennis shoes. We had a nice weekend. Maddy was VERY well behaved for her Aunt Getta Friday night when Clint and I went to his holiday party. It was fabulous being able to go out and be Steph again and not worry about the munkin. The fire inside my breasts is what determined our departure from the party but we made it several hours. This week is very bucy for us, as it is for most people so I won't likely blog until the weekend again but I will be sure to post her most recent weight and height after her 4 month appt on Thursday; although tomorrow is her official 4 month birthday....ALREADY!!!!
