Adjustment Period....
Happy Monday to all! Clint and I have started the trainings for our new jobs and Madison is back in baby school full time so we are in a bit of an adjustment period. Although I have been teaching for a while now, the last 7 years have been spent in the private sector and public education has come a LONG way since I left...which is very encouraging, but overwhelming at the same time. I think and hope I will enjoy the challenge! Clint seems unphased by the changes, but is excited to start already. He seems to enjoy his school and colleagues and feels as though he has a great deal of support.
As for Madison, she is in her last week in the infant room since she turns ONE on Saturday. Where has the time gone?!?!??! She will be in the toddler room starting next week, and we know she is ready! She has her top two teeth now; she is up to 4 in all:)
As you can see in the picture, her new favorite thing, next to pointing at EVERYTHING, is to climb in and out of this little green box, or her bumbo chair, or the laundry basket...you get the idea. She gets so proud of herself and claps and laughs upon her accomplishment. She has also mastered getting out! After several face plants into the ground, she realized that was the non-example of how to exit correctly and has figured out to use her feet.
I will certainly post again after her b-day celebration this weekend. I am hoping to get some good cake shots:) In the meantime, have a great week.
