Turkey Time

So on this first Thanksgiving Eve, Maddy finally met her Aunt Annie. She came over with Ryan to pick up a family member and drove out of their way, more so than necessary with Annie navigating the trip, JUST to see the munkin-
She was very well behaved and enjoyed the company. She will see more of her Aunt Annie AND her Aunt Leslie in a couple of weeks when Maddy takes her first overnight trip to Vero in December.
Tomorrow marks Maddy's first Thanksgiving and I intend to eat plenty for both of us since she can't truly enjoy all the Thanksgiving fixins until next year. I know there is always so much to be thankful for but when there is a new addition to your life, one so happy and healthy as Maddy, it gives us even more to be thankful for.
We hope you all have a great THanksgiving and enjoy the newest pics. I love the one of Clint and Maddy...it has been awhile since I got a good one of them.

3 month marker....

Well Maddy has made it to the 3 month marker where so many things begin to happen. She is changing everyday and it is a las to watch. She is learning quickly all the things that her arms, legs, hands and feet can do and seems to be happy with the outcome. She is sleeping well at night, outside of nursing every 3 hours still because she is only 11 lbs, but she goes right back to sleep! That is a true blessing because getting the munkin down for her naps in the day is the biggest test of patience I have ever faced. She does not nap one time in the morning and one time in the afternoon for an extended period of time, instead she nurses, plays for about an hour and a half or so and then naps for 20-30 minutes after fighting it for 20-30 minutes. I am still trying to figure out what she thinks she is going to miss, other than me rushing around to get all the things in the house done, or a paper written for school......sleeping seems like a much more inviting option if you as me:)
She went and visited her cousins, Gabriel and Olivia this weekend, and her Uncle Skip of course! She slept on SKip while I played with the kids! They were so patient as they waited for her to wake up and kept themselves entertained in her diaper bag in the meantime. Then we went to Aunt Getta's for a friendly Thanksgiving dinner and she was an angel. We managed to time everything just right so she didn't get tired and fussy and instead came home and went right to sleep. You know we are pros after 3 months of this:)
Anyway, we are looking forward to a wonderful Thanksgiving with her grandma Nini and Henry. I am sure there will be pictures to share of her first Turkey day!!!
We hope everyone has a great week.
