This past weekend was my sister's birthday so she and the girls and my mom came up to spend the weekend with Madison. Prior to them getting here on Saturday, Maddy had a night with her daddy while mom went to Bunco with 12 other crazy girls. It was so much fun and I actually won money and a gift.....it was fantastic. Thanks again Mandy for the invite; I can't wait until next month. Once the family got here on Saturday we stayed busy swimming, shopping, dining and going to the zoo. I finally bought an annual pass to the zoo since that seems to be the place we go when visitors come to town. I think the picture up top with Madison and Brittany is adorable. Madison is fascinated by her older cousins and it is a beuatiful thing to watch. Brooke was jumping on the bed in the hotel (I tried to join in but my mom told me I was going to break the bed-:) ) and Madison was belly laughing at her. It was super adorable too. Clint was sick all weekend so he rested while we played but Brooke managed to get a little bit of Playstation 3 time in with her Uncle "Clink."
In the meantime, Madison has started to crawl. She is especially interested in her dog sister's toys and seems to be motivated most be crawling to those. Clint found one of his nerf guns that has a red laser light and if he points that at the floor she crawls toward that too....only once she gets there she becomes very upset that nothing is REALLY there...which her daddy thinks is hilarious!!! She is also at the peak of separation anxiety and today marks the first time EVER she has cried when being left at daycare. I realize she was over it by the time Clint got to his car but still, that is sad for the little munkin.

Here is a picture of Madison chewing on her fingers as she does often these days in an attempt to soothe her sore gums. Her first tooth is almost here, it is the bottom left one making its way to the surface. She is struggling with eating, sleeping and getting comfortable in general but is still in good spirits. I took this picture last night and thought it was too adorable to neglect posting.
