Happy Monday to everyone:) We hope you all had a nice, relaxing weekend. Things at the Huff household have been very busy with too few hours in a day...but that is how most people feel I'm sure. Madison recovered from her cold but managed to get an ear infection in each of her ears in the process; an explanation for the sleepless nights we have been experiencing. As you can see, she continues to be a very happy, playful and hungry baby so we are extremely grateful. The doctor prescribed Maddy her first ever antibiotics and although aprehensive, we are hoping they do the trick. Madison and I went shopping on Saturday with some girlfriends and she seemed to have a great time. She was all smiles and tried engaging every baby she encountered on our adventure and I must admit she had great success:) All that shopping must have worn her out though because after our mall trip and our weekly trip to Target, she took a TWO AND A HALF HOUR (gasp!!!!) nap. Yep, you guessed it...I called my sister to make sure I shouldn't worry and she reassured me it was a good thing. I do remember Christy telling me to cherish those moments and once again, I worried myself through it. One day I will learn:)
This weekend we are starting the process of making our "office" Maddy's playroom. We all know how important it is for an ALMOST 7 month old to have a playroom (hah) so we are aiming to get it done this month. She will officially rule the roost:)

Maddy can officially sit up all by herself (below). It has been starting to happen in the last week or so and finally last night and again this morning, she decidedly learned how to balance that noggin- of hers:) She is no expert of course and falls backwards from time to time, which she does NOT like at all, but I thought would be fun to post (above)! I am sure it is all over from here and time will officially FLY BY.
