Tremendous Thursday

SO after not leaving the house, other than for LOTS of walks, Maddy and I went on two adventures today. We went to visit Aunt Sheri first and that was fabulous. There is so much open, bright space and Maddy loves to hang out there. She missed Olivia and Gabe but it was nice for Sheri and I both to have some adult conversation:) Thank you Aunt Sheri for everything....always!
There are a couple of cute pics I took while we were there so I thought I would share. Then we went to have lunch with Clint and she was an angel. All his coworkers still ooh and ahh over her so we LOVE going there:) Then Aunt Getta came over to have dinner and watch Survivor and while I was pumping....oooh what fun.....and Clint was making dinner.....Getta was playing with Maddy and was able to get pictures of her grabbing and shaking her first rattle...way to go Anut Getta. That kodak moment is also posted for your viewing pleasure. We are looking forward to a relaxing weekend. If we get some good pics or anything exciting happens, I will be sure to update the blog. In the meantime, have a great weekend!

Tummy TIme

I can't believe it is October already; time really does fly by. We hope everyone had a nice weekend. Maddy has enjoyed her first experience with tummy time and I of course have a picture to share the experience with everyone. She does not enjoy being on her back at all but seems to find a great deal of comfort on her side and on her tummy. She still sleeps on her back at night of course:)
She is really starting to come into her personality. SHe is smiling all the time (an not only when she has gas) and she is starting to look around and take things in for longer periods of time. It is great. She is starting to coo more and more and her digestive track seems to be getting better by the day too; lots of great changes.
I bought her a Halloweek costume this weekend. She is officially going to be the cutest pumpkin in the world this year. I will certainly take pictures for everyone to see. She is going trick or treating with Morgaen for her first Halloween (any excuse for MOMMY to get LOTS of candy) and I am sure they will have lots of fun. Speaking of Morgaen, she was over visiting Maddy the other day and I came into the room where she was watching soccer so I could do some pumping. Well to a 2 year old(and many other people), the concept of pumping is foreign, so she was naturally very intrigued. After investigating the machine and my breasts, she lifts her shirt up and says, "I have boobies too." I agreed that she did. She then said, "I want to try." (referring to pumping). I told her she didn't have any milk in her boobies so she couldn't pump. She then marched out to the living room (full of people) and after lifting her shirt to show everyone her boobies, said "Mommy, mommy, I want milk in my boobies!" It was hilarious. Everyone out there thought that I had put her up to it (that's a surprise I know), but she did it all on her own. The picture you see, is a picture of Morgaen for those of you who don't know her. She is a great preview of the things we have to look forward too:)
Anyway, we hope everyone has a great week. Enjoy the pics.
