So big.....

So today marks 10 weeks since Maddy came into the world and as you can see she gets cuter by the day:) Aunt Getta came and took some black and white pics for us and these are a couple of the shots she got. Maddy is smiling more and more each day and it is incredibly rewarding. We are home this weekend and intend to get some serious cleaning done around the house now that we feel like we are officially out of "survival" mode:)
We hope everyone has a great and relaxing weekend. We are resting up for a very busy month of November filled with lots of visitors and adventures. It will make for exciting blogs.
Maddy sends kisses to all of you she doesn't see regularly.

Cold Front

So here Maddy is in her hat since we had a cold front come through yesterday. It was only 50 degrees outside and that is cold for we native Floridians:) She looks a bit like she has that alapecia problem (when a person has no hair) because she has invisible eyebrows like her mom, but nonetheless, she is pretty irresistible I think. I eventually DID cover her ears and hands!
She has had an abnormally needy, fussy week but she can't help it so we just do all we can to keep her happy.
Other than that, no real exciting news to report from the Huff household. We hope your week has been great. I will post more over the weekend!

Pack and Play

Well it is Sunday evening and Maddy is having a hard time getting herself to sleep for longer than 15 minutes at a time today, so she has been a little fussy most of the afternoon. She is still fabulous and we have lots to celebrate even with a fussy evening on our hands. Thursday, Getta and I went out and got Maddy a pack and play as a transition from futon with me to crib without me (more for me of course). Clint and I put her down on Friday night at 9:00pm and outside of 2 nursings, she stayed in it until 4:00am.....not bad for her first night. It felt FABULOUS to be back in a regular bed next to my wonderful husband again too:) Saturday night she went down at 9:00 and stayed until 5:30am, with 2 nursings again. She hasn't quite accepted it as a daytime napping station but that will come I am sure. HTe picture on the right is her in her new pack and play.
She also had some visitors.....Norm and Cindy Glady, Alli's parents from Pennsylvania, and they brought her the greatest ever toy (pictured above). It speaks 5 languages and that makes me very happy. She LOVES it already!
We did family pictures today and Clint did such an amazing job of picking out her Christmas dress that I am dying for it to be the holidays so we can send out the cards. He really is fantastic and although he lost 10 man points for buying a Christmas dress, with tights, booties and a hat to match on his lunchbreak last week, he won infinite dad points, and we all know that is far more important!!
Outside of that we had a regualr weekend; hanging out at the house with limited adventures since she still hasn't taken a strong liking to her carseat but that too will come.
We hope everyone has a great week at work.
