My trip to the zoo.....

Today Maddy went on her first trip to the zoo. Christy was nice enough to invite us to join her at the zoo with Amiya and Kev and Amiya's future husband Gabe (yeah, they are 3). It is gorgeous here today but at 9:00am was still a bit chilly for the munkin so I put her in her hat and an outfit that had layers, in case shedding was necessary, and off we went. She saw all kinds of animals until naptime took over. It was fabulous and the company was great. She was glad to be home and has been sleeping most of the afternoon since. Have a great weekend.

Hello everyone. Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything new but yesterday was SUPER busy. Maddy enjoyed her first Halloween, although the people that make Halloween costumes don't consider the Florida population. I put Maddy in her very cute outfit JUST long enough to get a picture. We work so hard to get her to gain weight, that keeping her in that outfit for more than 5 minutes would have been silly because she would have lost all that she has gained:)
SHe is becoming more and more aware by the hour it seems and really enjoying her independent time a great deal these days. It is funny how I couldn't wait to have my hands free again and now to think she already doesn't need me as much, is sadddening. It really does FLY by.
As big as she is getting, she still HATES HATES HATES her carseat in the car. It is heart wrenching to hear her cry so hard that she gags and it makes it very difficult to go places. BUT....this too will pass...like everything else:)
