Aunt Getta

So today proved to be one of those days as a new mom and although Maddy was as good as she always is, patience was not something that woke up with me today. Many of you are likely questioning what patience I ever had:) Thank you Christy for helping me through my moment with the sling; I am so glad you understand!!!
Anyway, Maddy's aunt Getta saved the day AGAIN!!!!! She comes over everyday after school so I can get some things done around the house and she and Maddy can have their time. She does wake up everyday at 3:30 to see her Aunt Getta....there was no doubt that she would be on a schedule with Clint and I as her parents...was there? It is a wonderful time of day for all of us because even Cailin knows that she gets her walk with me...all by herself....and we all know she requires special attention:) This blog post is my way of saying THANK YOU as big as I can to you Getta for being such a strong support to our family. We wouldn't be here without you and our appreciation goes beyond words.
I thought these pictures of Getta and Maddy were too cute to dispute so I posted them for your viewing pleasure.
I hope everyone has a great week! I am confident that tomorrow will come with patience.
Christy said it well today, parenting is the most humbling thing one will ever do! Thank goodness the rewards are immeasurable.
