Long overdue
So here are just a couple of pics from our first Christmas. The one to the immediate left is Maddy with her Aunt Cindy. My sister never thought she would get to be an aunt so being able to have Maddy in her life is a blessing she appreciates every day. They were both very excited to finally get to spend some time together. The picture here is one of our days at the park with the girls. There is a picture of on the very top of an adorable little girl. That is my sister's youngest, Brittany, and she is almost one year exactly, older than Maddy. We are looking very forward to that relationship blossoming. The picture of another little girl holding Maddy is Brooke, Cindy's oldest...my other gorgeous niece...who was an AMAZING helper with Maddy all week long. SHe has had a lot of practice with Brittany but still she was a huge help; and Maddy loves her to pieces. I think the picture of them together is priceless. THe other pictures are of my mom, red sweater at the top, my aunt Fran, center and my cousin Heidi, far right. My mom has been able to see Maddy as she has gotten older but Fran and Heidi had to wait a long 4 months to see the little munkin-and they said it was worth the wait. Maddy thought they were fabulous and enjoyed many belly laughs with them. You can see she is really shy when it comes to the camera (HAH). Maddy started solids and has determined that baby rice cereal is NASTY, but sweet potatoes and carrots are quite tasty. She is not sure about the squash but manages to get it down. Next are the green veggies and then on to fruits. She has also started to roll over. December 22 was her first "official" rolling over but I definitely think it was an accident. Yesterday was the first time she did it repeatedly until she rolled so much she spit up...it was fantastic:) She continues to enjoy daycare.....more than I enjoy it of course, and although the ladies keep trying to tell us she has a daycare boyfriend, Clint will have NO PART of hearing that! She truly is a happy baby and such a joy to be around. Her smile and personality are both contagious and we are blessed to be the parents of such a happy and healthy little girl. Monday is my first day back to work so I will do my best with the blog. We hope everyone had a great holiday and start to the new year. We look forward to all that 2007 will bring and we are excited to share it with you.

Um, ixnay on the day care boyfriend Kev says. He's going to start sitting outside her classroom in his stroller just to peek in the window and make sure no other man's zoomin' on his Maddy. She can hop in when "school" is done and they'll cruise on over to Publix for some strained peas and yobaby.
