"Can't find my Feet" Video and Granparent Visits

Well Madison had a very exciting week. She had a visit from her Medad (my dad) on Monday and they enjoyed playing with the Dora ball! Madison thinks it is hilarious when the ball bounces off her head or anyone else's head. She gets to laughing so hard, she gives herself the hiccups. She showed her Medad how big she has gotten and how much she can talk. It was fun to see. She also provided me with great entertainment during the Superbowl last weekend. She was sitting in the brown chair, folding herself in half...over and over and over again. I woke up sore the next day for her, but she was fine:) Then we went to visit grandma Nini and Henry and OH MY GOODNESS.....what fun they had. Jeanine (Clint's mom) bought this little pink princess table and two chairs for Madison and she loved it. It came equipped with her own Dora balloon, a xylophone, playdough, coloring books, etc. As if that wasn't exciting enough, she went into the bedroom and found her own doll house, that has a flushing toilet and a talking refrigerator...among other things. She thought that was super cool and anytime she found her way in there, Grandma Nini was called upon to play....which Jeanine had no problem with. Clint walked in at one point and they had taken a break from the doll house and were both jumping on the bed...Madison also had her first easter egg hunt (the joy of a one and a half year old not knowing true holiday dates) and that was a huge hit. She carried her basket around and picked up eggs forever...too cute! She also learned about hula hoops. We had a child sized one and an adult sized one and I ATTEMPTED to show her how they work...a short success. She loved that too! As if that wasn't enough, Jeanine found an elephant that shoots out butterflies to catch with a net. Well Madison found another use for the nets, as you can see in the picture above...but she loved the butterflies too. Clint and I are glad that is a grandma toy...too labor intensive for us:) If you look close at the picture of Madison and Grandma Nini, you can see a butterfly tattoo. Madison got her first ever tattoo at an art festival we went to in New Smyrna.
It was an awesome week but she is home now, recovering from teething and a head cold! Don't forget to watch the video of Madison trying to find her toes...among endless plastic balls.
